According to the new RITE, simple manual ventilation by opening windows and is not allowed when it could not guarantee adequate levels of indoor air quality. (UNE-EN 13779)

RITE is applied to schools and new buildings and reforms of thermal installations in existing buildings.

ECONOMIC IMPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOLS
Compliance of the RITE has a very significant economic impact on the renovation and construction at schools. Traditional ventilation systems would be required to comply with regulations in a rising anti-economic cost of these works and reforms.

RENGINEERING CHALLENGE
RITE also promotes the introduction of new technologies and innovative concepts compared to traditional restrictive approaches that prevent the use of new products and more effective and efficient techniques.
